Rewind and Repairs Division

Bowers Electricals Ltd is considered one of the leading Electrical Repair and Service Companies. Our vast range of on site facilities and stocks allow reduced downtime and flexibility to cover our client's requirements on a 24 Hour basis.

Motor Rewinds Division
Bowers Motor Rewind & Repairs Division offer full rewinds and repair; re-design and servicing of all types of HV & LV AC Induction motors; Alternators; DC machines and other associated rotating equipment.
We can offer winding and repair up to 36 kV, including in-house coil winding. We offer replacement insulation to maintain, or possibly improve, original manufactured efficiencies during the rewinding process.
Bowers are also an approved Brook Crompton Authorised Drives and Repairs Centre, as well as being one of the founder members of the A.E.M.T., having been in the motor rewinding and repair business since 1947. Our on-site testing & drying facilities allow us to carry out re-manufacture and testing from the smallest of motors up to large High Voltage machines. We have a highly trained team of engineers with many years winding & repair experience and are authorised Flameproof and Hazardous motor repairers to include current ATEX standards.



Transformers & Rectifiers Rewinding Division
Bowers manufacture, repair, rewind, re-design and overhaul all types of power & distribution Transformers & rectifiers up 30MVA. Our extensive overhaul and rewind facilities are further supported by our new Transformer manufacturing division and design team (see additional flyer). We have one of the largest drying ovens in the industry and our transformer test facilities provide Routine tests in accordance with BSEN60076.
All our repairs and rewinds are carried out in accordance with our quality assurance to ISO9001:2000.

Maintenance and 24 Hour service is offered throughout the company, our stocks of New & Refurbished equipment can also save repair downtime.
