Power Transformer Manufacture

Bowers Electricals Ltd offers manufacture of Power Transformers up to 20MVA at 33kV in our UK facility. We have at your disposal our in-house design and manufacturing facilities, allowing us to offer you Transformers on relatively short lead times and competitive prices to your exact specifications.

Transformers are available generally manufactured ONAN / ONAF / OFAF complete with standard and special fitting including:-

On load tap changers; Tap changer control Panels; Separate and integral Cooling bank Systems; Forced Fan cooling; Oil circulation pump systems; Temperature Monitoring Systems; HV & LV cable boxes or Outdoor bushings; Conservator & Bucholz etc.

All our Power Transformers are subject to stringent testing at our Heanor works, which can be witnessed by clients at the end of the manufacturing process. Special Tests such as Temperature Rise, Impulse, Noise levels,etc, can also be offered as required.

On completion of manufacture and despatch, our site teams can provide site erection/assembly and commissioning of our Power Transformers ensuring a turnkey solution. Due to our in-house design and flexibility, we are able to provide bespoke Transformers to customers's specific requirements.
